Talk of the Town

Even George Bush and Tony Blair seem to apologize for their Iraqi war mistake, but the Indian HRD minister Mr. Arjun Singh is more arrogant on the decision he (err.. he didnt take it, the Parliament) has taken on the reservation issue. Shrikant terms his interview with CNN-IBN as "The most insane and pig-headed interview one can ever expect to read." While Keerthi sums up the entire issue brilliantly. Damn !! the vote bank politics.

IT pros have reason to rejoice. If you feel you are the next one to be targetted by the Indian Government for the reservation thingy to soon enter your zone also, the US of A is here to help you. They have approved to double the number of H1B Visas :) Complete news here.

Once more it is proved over expectation fails. As far as I have heard, the recently released Selvaraghavan directed Dhanush starrer Pudhupettai fails to make an impression. Haven't watched it still.. don't think will watch hereafter either. Will VV follow the same lines.. kadavuley !?!

After writing a short story on "The Mummy" in previous post, request is flowing to write another one or even if possible a sequel to it. So without hesitation here i go with a very very shortest story... "Mummy returns" :)

  • Thanks for your post Srini, I read the interview and also Keerthi's blog. Nice reading! Keerthi has opened up what many O.C candidates who has been affected in the current educational system will feel.

    Thanks,

  • It is heartening for Indian professionals about a good news from US about the quota of immigrant visas being increased.

At the same vien, it is sad that India should tread on the most myopic path targetted to benefit only the vote banks of selfish politicians.

    Time alone could answer this.
